A mother is the beginning, the nourisher, the giver, the source of love and light. Also, as Garegin Nzhdeh said, “The destiny of nations should be looked for in mother’s palm.” We are deeply grateful to the Armenian mothers who instilled in their sons a great love for the homeland and who then sacrificed their lives for the future of our nation.
The Armenian mother, throughout centuries to this day, remains the driving force of our nation’s well-being. It was the Armenian mother who kept evolving and progressing without losing her fundamental mission, that of being a MOTHER and a nurturing source for generations to come. No wonder that the most important values for us as a nation, such as our tongue, our church, and our land, are often used with the word “mother.”
We say mother Armenia, mother tongue, motherland, and mother church.FRF Celebrated Mother’s Day with a beautiful event attended by dedicated benefactors of the organization. In line with the theme of the day, one of the essential missions of Armenian mothers was emphasized: to educate Armenian generations faithful to the universal values and our national identity.
FRF chair Naz and the board members presented the work done by the Foundation and spoke about the upcoming programs. They announced that all proceeds from the Mother’s Day event would be donated to wounded Armenian soldiers and families in need.
